Professional Career:

Prior to joining UNGRIA's Mexico (Mexico City) office, he gained 15 years of experience at IMPI- Mexican Intellectual Property Office- in the Patent, Utility Models and Integrated Circuits Layout Designs fields. He served as Departmental Coordinator, Substantive Examination Supervisor and Patent Examiner, in the Electrical Area Patent Division, specializing in Computer Implemented Inventions.

Later on, he joined a transnational law firm for 5 years in the Intellectual Property Department where he focused his professional activity on technical-legal advice (for national and international clients) during the substantive examination of Patents, Utility Models and Industrial Designs applications; drafting of applications; searches; technical and patentability reports; and freedom to operate (FTO) analysis.
