Professional Career:

Before joining UNGRIA´s Mexico (Mexico City) office in 2018, she accumulated more than 15 years of experience in the Intellectual Property field, advising national and international clients on Inventions and Distinctive Signs. She worked in prestigious Intellectual Property law firms where she focused her professional activity on the technical-legal advice of Patents, mainly during the substantive examination phase, within the chemical area.

Prior to her private practice in local law firms, she was a Patent Examiner at the Mexican Institute of Intellectual Property (IMPI), Mexico City, where she carried out technical and legal advice to patent applicants during substantive examination.

In addition, she was a Technician in Chemical Sciences at the Materials Research Institute (IIM), UNAM, Mexico City, where she conducted a research of ceramic materials designed for the absorption of greenhouse gases such as CO2, from its synthesis, characterization and performance evaluation, mainly using and interpreting techniques such as X-ray diffraction, Scanning electron microscopy, Atomic Force Microscopy and Thermogravimetry. Additionally, during her research stay at the Institute of Geography (IG) UNAM, Mexico City, as a technician in Chemical Sciences, she focused her work on the determination of contaminants in soils, carrying out the preparation of samples under standardized procedures, conducting the evaluation of soils using techniques such as absorption and atomic emission Spectroscopy, among other techniques.
